Volunteer Coordinator

Paw Prints We are seeking a highly motivated animal-loving individual to join our dynamic team as the Volunteer Coordinator (VC) us with our volunteer program.

We are a 100% volunteer-based organization. T We cannot carry out our life-saving mission without the help of our dedicated and compassionate volunteers. he Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for helping to oversee all other volunteer positions.

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Maintain volunteer roster

• Respond to volunteer inquiries

• Interview potential volunteers to ensure they align with our mission and have the ability to commit to volunteering

• Assist with volunteer attendance for events (adoption events, fundraisers, etc.)

• Assist with volunteer retention and volunteer recognition

• Assist in volunteer managemen

Qualifications

• Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, Excel). 

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well independently, and within a team.

• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and respect for differences.

• Commitment to the continuous improvement of service quality and the organization’s mission.

• Have a reliable vehicle, current car insurance and a valid driver’s license.-

Hours
Up to 15 hours/week

Compensation
This is an unpaid internship or volunteer opportunity. Paw Prints in the Sand reimburses for rescue-related expenses and mileage according to the IRS Non-Profit Standard Mileage Rate.
